Co-Main Event: Bryce Mitchell (-126) vs. Andre Fili (+103).
Been paying close attention to Bryce Mitchell (13-0). Mitchell has been impressive in the grappling department. He took a scrappy but not very effective Charlie Rosa to a unanimous decision victory in his last bout. Mitchell worries me with his striking against Fili. Andre Fili (21-7) has shown he can take a punch as well as he can give one. Winning his last three out of five bouts in the UFC octagon. I think Mitchell survives one or two rounds with his grappling and keeping the fight close. However, Fili is being undervalued and is the significantly better striker in this stylistic match up. Rolling with Andre Fili (+103).
Main Event: Uriah Hall (-246) vs. Anderson Silva (+195).
What can you say that hasn’t been said about Anderson Silva (34-10)? The walking legend who still headlines main events at the young age of forty-five. Amazing defense. Technical striking. The ability to keep his opponent guessing has kept him aging like a fine wine in the UFC. This may be the last time we see Anderson Silva in the UFC and either way I’m honored to have lived in a time where this man provided us with entertainment since the late 90’s. Uriah Hall (15-9) doesn’t take easy fights. He has molded himself into a great competitor. That is why I am excited for this Main Event. Two great competitors throwing down in what will be a middleweight fight of the ages. Uriah Hall doesn’t exactly finish fights and that benefits Silva. Hall has momentum entering this fight winning his last two bouts. However, Anderson Silva still has enough in the tank to eek out a victory over the formidable Hall. Taking Anderson Silva (+195) and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
