Fun short flat track here at Michigan International Speedway. A lot of what you saw last week will be duplicated at Michigan. With the exception of it being easier to pass here than it was in New Hampshire.
Jimmie Johnson (+100) H2H William Byron (-130). Will be a fun duel to watch. Johnson has been coming on strong and he has plenty of experience here at Michigan. I like Byron but this is not his track. Johnson has not had a good year but he isn’t going to pack it in. This is 7-time champion Jimmie Johnson baby! I am showing him love today and I am wagering on his #48 Chevrolet to show it back! My wager: Jimmie Johnson (+100).
Matt DiBenedetto (-150) H2H Clint Bowyer (+120). Quickly becoming one of the better drivers in the field of 2020 DiBenedetto has been awesome on short tracks this year. I have been paying close attention to DiBenedetto and his ‘Wood Brothers’ Ford all year. Ford’s are dominating this year and I don’t see that slowing down at Michigan. Bowyer is also in a Ford but the difference in this head to head is flat out DiBenedetto being better at moving up through the field. My wager: Matt DiBenedetto (-150).
Matt DiBenedetto (-115) H2H Erik Jones (-115). Identical h2h here as well for Matt. Last week I went to the well and came back with enough water for the village. Why stop now? The village people are thirsty! Big difference here is Jones is in a Toyota that has struggled on short flat tracks this year and his set-up hasn’t caught up with the track so to speak. My wager: Matt DiBenedetto (-115).
