Short flat track. Drivers like Blaney, Keselowski, Truex Jr., Hamlin, Harvick, DiBenedetto all come to mind. One driver stands out among the field. Ryan Blaney. Blaney has been dominant on short flat tracks all year long. This track is one of the harder ones to pass on. Blaney will start in 12th and will be looking to move up through the pack all day. If Blaney can get the lead he has the car to keep it. With Blaney’s current form and his solid track history at short flat tracks. I am all in on Ryan Blaney to win (+1000).
The mainstream narrative is a duel between Hamlin and Harvick resumes here. Part of that is true. Harvick has been impressive this year and Hamlin has been as well. Both winning races and both competing extremely hard. Harvick’s track record is better here than Hamlin’s and Harvick will be pull out all the stops to find victory lane. My wager: Harvick top 5 finish (-200).
Matt DiBenedetto starting 19th has been coming on strong this year and on short flat tracks has fared well. DiBenedetto has a head 2 head against Erik Jones starting 17th that I find interesting. Jones finished with a top 3 finish here before but it has not been his year thus far. Matt DiBenedetto and that Wood Brothers Ford are out to prove the doubters wrong. My wager: DiBenedetto H2H (-105).
